ReproSTAR®
L5 HB
Dairy Cattle Vaccine
Product Information [pdf]
ReproSTAR® L5 HB:
L. hardjo-bovis leads to extra days open, infertility and rebreeding.
It can be extremely costly for dairy producers, due to significantly
lower conception rates and early embryonic death.
Diagnosis is difficult because cattle often won’t show clinical
signs. Unfortunately, infected cattle can shed continuously and
spread the disease within a herd, so prevention is key.
Calves can be a host when born, and infect herd mates immediately
after birth. Vaccinating calves, especially replacement heifers,
early with ReproSTAR L5 HB may help reduce the risk of those animals
becoming lifetime carriers of L. hardjo-bovis.
